Urgently Hiring | Member Services Administrative Support Assistant

Santa Barbara, CA | 100% Onsite | $24-$25/hr | Immediate Start Available

Join a respected healthcare organization supporting Medi-Cal members throughout the community. We're seeking a detail-oriented administrative professional to support mail operations, document management, data entry, and departmental operations in a fast-paced Member Services environment.

Job Description

The Member Services Administrative Support Assistant will provide administrative support related to the day-to-day functions of the Member Services Department. This role will assist with mail correspondence for CareConnect and existing Medi-Cal member needs while helping ensure efficient department operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with member mail correspondence, including sorting, distribution, tracking, and processing incoming and outgoing mail.
• Prepare, send, and track outgoing mail and member communications.
• Perform printing, scanning, filing, and document management tasks.
• Coordinate mail merges and letter mailing activities.
• Support invoicing and other administrative functions.
• Coordinate calendars, schedule meetings, and provide general administrative support.
• Organize and prepare reports to evaluate operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Assist with a variety of departmental projects and initiatives as assigned by leadership.
• Serve as a point of contact for departmental administrative functions and daily operations.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in an administrative, clerical, office support, or coordination role.
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Experience with email management, data entry, and document management systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Excel.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
