This position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to perform your duties from the comfort of your own home while still engaging with patients and colleagues through our integrated telehealth platforms. Our outpatient office, based in Germantown, Maryland, is designed to support our therapists in delivering care, fostering growth, and collaboration through regular virtual team meetings and case consultations.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new patients and their families to understand their unique needs and backgrounds.

• Deliver individualized and family therapy sessions tailored to patients' specific circumstances, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities.
\n
• Accurately complete billing, documentation, and insurance authorization forms, ensuring compliance with established timelines.
\n
• Develop comprehensive crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention strategies, and wellness plans to help clients maintain stability and manage mental health challenges.
\n
• Create discharge plans that reflect clients' goals and ensure a smooth transition into ongoing care or community resources.
\n
• Adhere to all relevant federal and state laws, as well as NEHS policies and procedures, to maintain the highest standards of practice.
\n
• Continuously enhance professional competence through training, development programs, and participation in continuing education.
\n
• Engage in case consultation and agency meetings to foster a collaborative approach to patient care.
\n
• Complete all licensure and mandatory training in a timely manner.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our diverse patient population includes individuals from various cultural, socioeconomic, and demographics backgrounds. You will be working with clients dealing with a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and family dynamics. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field that leads to licensure.

• Current licensure as a mental health therapist (LCPC, LMFT, LCSW-C) in the State of Maryland.

• Experience working in outpatient settings or community mental health environments is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic approaches and assessment tools.

Compensation and Benefits\n
