Head of Finance

A news Head of Finance opportunity has been created with a technology centric, growing firm. The successful incumbent will take ownership of the Finance function whilst supporting the accounting team. There will be collaboration with various department leaders whilst providing financial insights, budgeting, and forecasting expertise. The Head of Finance will need to thrive in a dynamic environment and have the ability to hit the ground running and make a high‑impact from joining. Responsibilities Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and analysis to deliver strategic insights, financial modeling, and decision support across the organization Oversee financial operations and drive financial budgeting with the ability to manage multiple vendors Contribute with the preparation of financial statements and ensure completion of taxes and annual audits by managing external 3rd party relationships Build and improve scalable finance systems, using automation and AI to increase efficiency and reporting quality Partner cross‑functionally, share knowledge, and adapt to evolving business needs Experience / Skills Around 10 years experience in strategic finance, preferably within a startup environment Prior experience in leading teams as well as finance & accounting functions CPA is a plus but not required Strong relationship building skills together with excellent verbal & written communication Ability to adapt and grow with the ever‑evolving AI and technology landscape PLEASE NOTE: this is a full‑time in office position #J-18808-Ljbffr Oliver James Associates Ltd.
