This is a rapid-growth start-up environment. This is an onsite role in Berkeley, CA. Job Responsibilities: FP&A:Partner with Project Managers to provide budgeting guidance for lifecycle of various projects. Assist with onboarding new projects and setting up budgets accordingly. Meet with various teams on a monthly/quarterly basis to ensure deadlines are being met. Lead additional financial planning efforts over the coming months/years. Establish best practices and streamline current processes, when possible. Accounting: Review the work of other team members to help facilitate month-end/quarter-end/year-end close activity and associated reporting.Spearhead the 2026 audit and act as the liaison with the auditors for all requests. Handle a high volume of requests from internal employees and external vendors. Requirements: A combination of both FP&A and accounting experience to be able to assist with both sets of responsibilities. Experience in a start-up environment with minimal handholding and the ability to wear multiple hats and quickly pivot, as necessary. Strong written & verbal communication skills.
