Job Description

We are seeking a dependable  Packer for a direct hire opportunity in Strongsville, Ohio. This position performs general warehouse duties while working with automated packaging machines to prepare products for shipment. The Packer will inspect products, package orders securely, apply labels, and ensure accuracy throughout the shipping process. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

· Read order slips or use digital scanners to pull and prepare the correct products from inventory

· Operate, monitor, and assist with automated packaging machines

· Inspect products for damage, defects, or missing components before packaging

· Select appropriate boxes and packaging materials to protect products during shipment

· Weigh completed packages and apply accurate shipping labels and barcodes

· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Qualifications and Requirements:

· Previous warehouse, packing, shipping, or manufacturing experience preferred

· Ability to work around and operate automated packaging equipment

· Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions accurately

· Ability to stand, bend, lift, and remain active throughout the shift

· Dependable attendance and punctuality

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

The base salary range for this position is approximately $39,520–$41,600 annually , excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, shift differential eligibility, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
