Medical Assistant Combo

ProHealth Partners is an established multi-specialty physician group and has been providing care to patients over the last 30 years. Our network includes over 250+ physicians in over 100+ clinics throughout the greater Long Beach, Los Angeles, Orange County, and Inland Empire areas.

We are currently looking to hire a Medical Assistant Combo in the city of Long Beach, CA . Experience in Internal Medicine  preferred.

Job Type: Full-Time, TEMP

Pay: $23-24 per hour

Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:00 am-5:00 pm

Job Duties

The Medical Assistant Combo is responsible for providing both front and back-office support to ensure efficient clinic operations and exceptional patient care. Responsibilities include greeting and assisting patients and visitors in person and over the phone, scheduling appointments to maximize provider efficiency, managing exam room flow, verifying insurance eligibility and benefits, and preparing required documentation prior to appointments. The Medical Assistant Combo maintains patient confidentiality while fostering a safe, welcoming environment. Clinical duties include rooming patients, obtaining and documenting vital signs, reviewing and updating medical histories, administering injections, performing phlebotomy as needed, assisting providers during examinations and procedures, and supporting the delivery of quality patient care. Additional duties may be assigned to meet the needs of the practice.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bilingual, required
• At least 2 years' experience in front and back office, preferred
• MA Certified
• CPR Certified
