Desired Skills & Experience:

• 1+ years of front desk, medical reception, or patient access experience

• Experience answering high-volume phone calls

• Knowledge of insurance

• Scheduling and appointment management experience

• Strong customer service skills

• Experience working with EHR systems

• Strong computer skills and attention to detail

 

Plusses:

• Cardiology or specialty clinic experience

• Experience with Phreesia

• Insurance verification experience

• Experience collecting copays or patient payments

 

Job Description:

Insight Global is seeking a Front Desk Coordinator to join a busy outpatient cardiology practice. This person will serve as the first point of contact for patients, managing check-in/check-out processes, scheduling appointments, handling incoming calls, verifying insurance information, and supporting overall front office operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and has strong customer service and organizational skills.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in patients upon arrival

• Manage patient check-out processes

• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments

• Answer and manage high-volume incoming phone calls

• Verify patient demographics and insurance information

• Maintain accurate patient records within the EHR system

• Assist with patient registration and intake paperwork

• Respond to patient inquiries and provide front office support

• Collect copays and process patient payments

• Support overall clinic operations to ensure a positive patient experience
