Patient Services Representative

To provide exceptional patient care, the part-time Patient Services Representative will manage phone customer service, schedule appointments, and handle patient information while working remotely with occasional on-site training or meetings in the Erlanger/Lexington, Kentucky area. Key responsibilities Manage high volumes of incoming calls, scheduling and canceling patient appointments for multiple providers Process patient information, including demographics, insurance verification, referrals, and authorizations with accuracy and efficiency Assist patients with inquiries regarding services and provide updates on the status of referrals and authorizations Required qualifications High School Graduate or High School GED upon hire Proficiency in handling sensitive patient information and communications Ability to work independently with flexibility and creative problem-solving skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on first call resolution
