Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking General Laborer to join our team. Candidates with previous construction experience are preferred. The ideal applicant is comfortable performing physical labor, following safety procedures, and assisting with a variety of construction and job-site tasks.

Location: Meriden/Wallingford, CT area

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm but can vary in start time

Pay rate: $19/hr or more, based on experience

Responsibilities

Assist skilled tradespeople with construction projects.
Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment.
Operate hand and power tools safely.
Prepare and clean work areas.
Perform demolition, excavation, and site preparation as needed.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized job site.
Complete other labor-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Previous construction or general labor experience preferred.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds or more.
Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Familiarity with basic hand and power tools.
Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team.
