SERVER ASSISTANT

Server AssistantWe are looking for Server Assistants to join our team and facilitate collaboration between our kitchen, bar, and wait staff. Responsibilities include serving food orders and removing used dishes and utensils while maintaining general restaurant cleanliness. If you'd like to gain experience in the restaurant industry and learn how to provide an excellent dining experience, we'd like to meet you. To be considered for this role, you should be available to work various shifts, including weekends. Ultimately, you will ensure our guests have a high-quality dining experience by serving their food in a timely and accurate manner and assisting the serving staff in their daily tasks.What will you be doing most days?Clean and prepare tables in between guestsDeliver food orders from the kitchen/food truck to customers' tables rapidly and accuratelyWork to keep the restaurant clean and maintained with duties such as sweeping, dusting, and picking up trashSupport the servers in their daily tasksRemove dirty dishes and utensilsClean up messes and spills as they occurHelp with other restaurant duties as neededInform restaurant staff about customers' feedback or requests (e.g. when they ask for the check)Promote positive employee and guest relations through professional communication and serviceBuild cooperative working relationships with all departments to support smooth operationsPerform any additional reasonable duties as assigned by a supervisor or manager.Provide support in other Food & Beverage areas as needed.What are the requirements for this position?Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skillsExcellent customer service skills and will go above and beyond to ensure guest satisfactionWork well on a team and always maintain a positive attitudeGood multi-tasker and work well under pressureUnderstanding of hygiene and food safety rulesPhysical ability and stamina to carry heavy trays and stand for long hoursPhysically able to work in an outdoor environmentAvailability to work various shifts, including weekendsPhysical Requirements for this PositionThis can be a physically demanding position.
