Customer Service Representative

Location: Canton, MI (Onsite)
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $17-$19/hour
Schedule: 8:00 AM-6:00 PM, 8-hour shift

About the Role

We're looking for a Customer Service Representative to support customers, business partners, and drivers in a fast-paced delivery environment. You'll help ensure deliveries stay on track, resolve customer concerns, and coordinate changes while providing a consistently positive customer experience.

What You'll Do

Assist customers and business partners by phone and email
Handle customer complaints calmly and professionally
Diagnose, assess, and resolve customer issues
Monitor the progress of delivery routes
Scan haul-away pods and verify stamps
Process delivery order changes and cancellations
Manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and follow-through

What You'll Need

Required:

Experience using Microsoft Office , including:
- MS Project
- Word
- Excel
- PowerPoint
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to multitask and stay organized
Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced environment

Preferred:

High school diploma or equivalent
1+ year of related customer service experience
Previous call center experience
Experience in delivery, transportation, logistics, or route operations
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to provide solutions while maintaining a positive customer experience
