Make a meaningful impact in the educational journey of K-12 students as a district-wide Occupational Therapist for a full academic year. In this contract position, you’ll provide dedicated support across four school buildings, ensuring students receive the services they need to thrive. This role runs from late August through mid-June and offers the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse team of educators and professionals serving the community near Putney, VT.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Vermont Occupational Therapy Certification (required)
• Previous experience with school-based OT services preferred
• Comfortable supporting students in grades K-12
• Strong communication skills to consult with teachers, families, and other specialists
• Ability to manage a full-time schedule of 35–37.5 hours per week across multiple buildings
• Detail-oriented in documentation and progress monitoring

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs and district protocols
• Develop individualized intervention plans to help students succeed in the classroom environment
• Collaborate closely with special education and general education staff across four buildings
• Conduct and contribute to evaluations, write reports, and participate in team meetings
• Offer consultative support and resources to teachers and parents to foster inclusive learning
• Adapt interventions based on student progress and changing needs throughout the school year
