Make a real difference supporting students’ growth and development as a district-wide Physical Therapist serving K-12 students across four buildings. This part-time contract opportunity provides the chance to work collaboratively in an education-focused setting while maintaining a satisfying work-life balance.
You’ll provide direct physical therapy services, consultation, and support for a variety of students and staff, fostering improved mobility, accessibility, and participation in the school environment. This role is perfect for professionals who thrive on variety and are passionate about helping children reach their full potential.
What we’re looking for:
- Valid Vermont Physical Therapist (PT) Certificate (required)
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
- Comfort working with a diverse K-12 student population
- Ability to manage your caseload independently across several locations
What you’ll do:
- Deliver assessment, intervention, and documentation for K-12 students across four buildings
- Collaborate closely with special education and classroom teachers to support inclusion and accessibility
- Develop individualized therapy plans and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide consultation and training to staff and families to support students’ progress
- Maintain up-to-date records consistent with school and district guidelines
This contract runs from late August through mid-June, working two days per week—giving you the flexibility to pursue other interests or professional goals.
