Make a meaningful impact as a District-Wide Physical Therapist working with K-12 students across four schools on a part-time contract basis. This rewarding opportunity allows you to support students’ growth, mobility, and independence in an educational environment while collaborating with passionate educators and specialists.
Key Qualifications:
- Vermont Physical Therapist (PT) Certificate required
- Experience or interest in pediatric physical therapy, particularly in school settings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Organizational and time management skills to balance a caseload across multiple buildings
- Ability to collaborate with other professionals to develop and implement individualized student plans
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct physical therapy services to K-12 students across four buildings as assigned
- Work part-time, two days per week, throughout the academic year (August 26, 2026 – June 14, 2027)
- Assess students’ functional needs and create or update individual therapy plans
- Document evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress, in compliance with district and legal requirements
- Participate as a team member in meetings related to students’ educational and therapeutic goals
- Provide training and resources to staff and families for student support
- Travel between locations within the district, fostering a supportive atmosphere in each school
