What’s required for success:

• Valid Vermont Occupational Therapy Certificate
• Previous experience in a school-based OT role preferred
• Ability to serve K-12 students with a wide range of needs
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
• Organizational skills for managing schedules across multiple sites

Key responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy assessments and evidence-based interventions to students throughout the district
• Develop individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
• Collaborate closely with special education teams and support staff in four schools
• Document progress and maintain accurate records per school guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings to share recommendations and progress updates
• Travel between buildings as needed (within a manageable district footprint)
• Offer training and support to teachers and staff in recommended accommodations and strategies

This is a full-time contract position, 35-37.5 hours per week, from August 26, 2026 through June 14, 2027. You’ll enjoy a structured and supportive setting while having the flexibility to work with students of varying ages and abilities.
