This full-time contract opportunity as a district-wide Occupational Therapist spans four buildings and reaches learners at every stage, offering both variety and the chance to build lasting professional relationships. Details:
- Contract assignment beginning August 26, 2026, through June 14, 2027
- Full-time schedule: 35-37.5 hours per week
- Work with students K-12 across four buildings, collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
- Run assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to ensure student success
Qualifications:
- Valid Vermont Occupational Therapist Certificate required
- Previous experience in a K-12 school environment strongly preferred
- Ability to work with diverse student populations and adapt therapeutic approaches as needed
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Commitment to fostering growth and independence for all students
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students based on IEP goals
- Conduct assessments, maintain documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
- Work collaboratively with educators and parents to support students’ academic and functional achievements
- Travel between school buildings within the district as part of your regular weekly routine
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to student needs
