Key Responsibilities\n

• Assist in program planning and the organization of mental health services tailored to the unique needs of each school.

• Maintain effective communication with physicians and other healthcare providers to relay patient progress, concerns, and any changes in treatment needs.

• Document patient interactions with precision, including clinical assessments and progress notes, in compliance with departmental policies.

• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, contributing to treatment plans and discharge strategies that align with psychosocial evaluations and social work best practices.

• Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention for students facing emotional or behavioral challenges, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

• Coordinate with family members and support systems to develop comprehensive treatment and discharge plans that foster continued support and progress post-discharge.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in social work or a related field is required for this position.

• Must possess a valid license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Washington.
