Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Sales with Event sales experience and to lead our sales initiatives for a prominent hospitality brand. This energetic leader will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth, expand market presence, and foster strong relationships with clients and partners. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for management, a keen understanding of B2B sales, and a talent for motivating teams to achieve ambitious goals. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our sales operations while delivering exceptional customer service and leveraging innovative marketing and technology strategies.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop comprehensive sales strategies aligned with company goals to maximize revenue and market share in the hospitality sector.
Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to ensure high performance, continuous development, and achievement of individual and team targets.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event organizers, and other key stakeholders through proactive outreach and account management.
Drive business development efforts by identifying new market opportunities, negotiating contracts, and closing high-value deals.
Utilize CRM tools like Salesforce to track sales activities, analyze data trends, and optimize sales processes for better efficiency.
Collaborate with marketing teams to create targeted campaigns that enhance brand visibility and attract new business prospects.
Oversee the execution of outside sales efforts, including B2B engagements, technical sales presentations, and customer service initiatives that foster loyalty.
Conduct regular analysis of sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategic adjustments accordingly.
QualificationsProven experience in outside sales, management, or business development within the hospitality or related industries.
Strong background in B2B sales, marketing strategies, and technology-driven sales approaches such as Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
Demonstrated success in managing large accounts and negotiating complex contracts with diverse clients.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, foster collaboration, and drive results through effective management practices.
Exceptional analysis skills to interpret sales data, market trends, and customer feedback for strategic decision-making.
Superior communication and negotiation abilities combined with a customer-centric approach to service excellence.
