Responsibilities The UDSD JV Trust & Safety Operations team is responsible for executing and overseeing day-to-day Human moderation activities. Our mission is to transform moderation from a labor-intensive process into a data-driven, system-powered operation that balances efficiency and accuracy, enabling TikTok to become the most trusted platform. About the Role The Business Operations Analyst role serves as the reporting governance and decision-support function within OEA. This role is responsible for creating trusted performance visibility, standardizing reporting logic, and generating actionable insights that support leadership decision-making across LoBs. Key Responsibilities Establish and govern reporting standards, metric definitions, and visibility frameworks across LoBs to maintain a consistent source of truth. Build, maintain, and continuously improve recurring reporting, dashboards, scorecards, and executive-level performance views. Deliver high-impact deep-dives and structured analysis to identify trends, risks, performance drivers, and opportunities for improvement. Partner closely with Planning and Performance, LoB leaders, Data Science, Product, Engineering, and QA to align on definitions and data interpretation. Improve reporting efficiency by standardizing outputs, and reducing manual effort, and identifying opportunities for automation in reporting workflows. Contribute to Operational Excellence and Automation by improving reporting scalability, reducing friction, and embedding insight-driven decision-making. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Experience in reporting, business intelligence, analytics, operations reporting, or related data-driven operational functions. Reporting Governance: Strong experience in building reporting standards, metric definitions, dashboard logic, and executive visibility mechanisms across multiple business areas. Strategic Insight: Proven ability to turn data into clear business narratives, identify systemic risks, and provide decision-useful recommendations rather than just reporting outputs. Cross-Functional Partnership: Experience working with Data Science, Product, Engineering, and Operations stakeholders to align definitions, resolve ambiguity, and improve consistency. Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly to senior stakeholders. Trust & Safety Content that this role interacts with includes images, video, and text related to every-day life, but it can also include (but is not limited to) bullying; hate speech; child safety; depictions of harm to self and others, and harm to animals. Hence, it is possible that this role will be exposed to harmful content on a daily basis. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
