Education Requirements High School Diploma or GED required College degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field preferred APICS/ASCM certifications (CPIM, CSCP) are a plus ERP system experience required Experience Requirements 5+ years of experience in inventory planning, purchasing, or materials management within a manufacturing environment Experience owning inventory performance, service levels, and inventory turns Strong understanding of inventory control principles, including reorder points, safety stock, EOQ, lead times, and demand planning Experience managing high-value inventory and supplier relationships Proficiency with ERP systems and inventory planning software Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Experience in ISO/QMS manufacturing environments preferred Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Physical Capabilities Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods Frequent keyboarding, data entry, and computer use Occasional walking in warehouse and production areas Ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs. when necessary Ability to work onsite in a manufacturing environment Job Duties Manage inventory levels to support production schedules and customer demand Make purchasing decisions based on demand forecasts, inventory risk, and supplier lead times Monitor inventory performance, service levels, stock availability, and inventory investment Analyze demand trends and respond to planning exceptions, shortages, and supplier constraints Collaborate with production, engineering, suppliers, and operations teams to prevent stockouts Utilize ERP and planning tools to maintain accurate inventory and purchasing records Reduce excess and obsolete inventory while improving inventory turns Support on-time delivery goals and supply chain performance metrics Maintain compliance with company procedures and inventory control processes Benefits Competitive Weekly Pay Comprehensive Benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
