Engagement Manager

Akkodis is seeking an Engagement Manager for a Contract job with a client in San Francisco, CA . The ideal candidate must have strong experience in Program/Project Management, Generative AI implementations, and enterprise IT delivery, along with a proven track record leading complex technology transformation initiatives.

Rate Range: $96/hour to $98/hour ; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Engagement Manager job responsibilities include:

• Lead end-to-end Generative AI implementation projects, including planning, scheduling, execution, monitoring, governance, and project closure.
• Manage project scope, requirements, timelines, budgets, risks, and business objectives throughout the engagement lifecycle.
• Facilitate collaboration and decision-making among customers, partners, delivery teams, and executive stakeholders.
• Provide regular project health reporting, status updates, executive dashboards, and stakeholder communications.
• Identify, assess, track, and mitigate project risks while proactively managing issues to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Ensure delivery teams follow established project management methodologies, implementation frameworks, and best practices.
• Drive customer adoption, business value realization, and successful deployment of Generative AI solutions.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Program Management, Project Management, or Engagement Management.
• 5+ years of experience leading enterprise IT implementation projects.
• Experience managing complex technology transformation and customer-facing delivery initiatives.
• Strong expertise in project governance, stakeholder management, risk management, budgeting, and issue resolution.
• Experience working with Agile delivery models and cross-functional technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience delivering Generative AI implementation projects and AI-powered business solutions.
• PMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, or equivalent project management certifications .
• Agile Scrum experience supporting large-scale enterprise technology programs.
• Experience implementing AI platforms, copilots, intelligent automation, or enterprise AI transformation initiatives.

Pay Details: $96.00 to $98.00 per hour
