Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of remote work while providing essential end-of-life care through our Hospice Center, located in Paterson, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of children to identify needs and strengths.

• Participate actively in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs).
\n
• Monitor and document the progress of clients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to adjust strategies as needed.
\n
• Facilitate positive interactions with children and families, establishing trust and promoting a supportive learning environment.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based practices to create joint plans with families, recommending tailored strategies that enhance children's development.
\n
• Educate families on enhancing their child's development, providing resources and support in the natural learning environment.
\n
• Adhere to all federal and state regulations, ensuring compliance within all aspects of service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on young children, particularly those with developmental challenges, their families, and caregivers. Our team concentrates on delivering early intervention services, helping children from birth to three years old acquire vital developmental skills while empowering families with the knowledge and support they need to thrive in their roles.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Social Work or a Doctorate of Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) through the Department of Public Health.

• A valid driver's license for travel requirements, as needed.
\n
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong ability to convey complex information in an understandable manner.

• Proficient organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple client caseloads effectively.

• Demonstrated commitment to applying Natural Learning Environment Practices in all interactions.

• Bilingual capabilities are encouraged, enhancing communication with diverse populations.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least one year of experience working with children in early intervention services.

Compensation and Benefits\n
