Phillips 66 & YOU - Together we can fuel the future The Sr Scheduler I, East Coast & West Coast Cargoes will work in an open, fast-paced team of Commercial Schedulers in Houston to optimize commodities in Phillips 66's portfolio. The individual will be responsible for scheduling, optimization, and inventory management of products such as gasoline, blendstocks, diesel, jet, etc. for waterborne movements primarily related to US imports and exports and international deliveries. This position has a base salary range of $147,600 - $180,400. This role is eligible to participate in the company's commercial bonus program, offering the opportunity to earn additional compensation based on business and individual performance, in accordance with program guidelines. - Providing scheduling coverage on a 24/7 basis except when relief coverage is available.
- Performing nominations and daily scheduling activities for clean products to fulfill Commercial Trading, Marketing, and VCO demand requirements and execute on Phillips 66 commitments while avoiding refinery or terminal containment events.
- Facilitating blending operations as needed on board vessels or at key domestic and international terminals.
- Entering data into SAP, Trade66, Navarik, Mainstay, other 3rd-party systems, etc. accurately and promptly to meet operational and financial requirements.
- Coordinating inspectors and ensuring specification and quantity measurement requirements are met and ensure costs are appropriately shared with counterparties as applicable.
- Managing product specification changes through distribution systems to meet regulatory requirements.
- Performing loss control oversight.
- Understanding logistical constraints and working effectively across business teams to optimize inventories, identify market opportunities, and balance profit with operational risk.
- Actively participating in weekly refinery, Supply Reliability Team (SRT), or similar meetings as needed.
- Closely monitoring asset operations and communicating current and/or future operational issues promptly to key stakeholders.
- Continuously maintaining and reporting accurate inventory positions and working with Marketing, Commercial Trading, and VCO to manage inventory to expectations.
- Understanding and abiding by domestic and international regulations and laws associated with the desk and conducting any required regulatory reporting as needed such as import/export documentation, pro forma reporting, BOL and COO generation, etc.
- Quickly establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with external and internal counterparts.
- Creating and maintaining a desk manual for relief coverage.
- Supporting resolution of book-to-book and book-to-physical activities for SAP inventories for Commercial US Clean Scheduling.
- Legally authorized to work in the job posting country.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 5 or more years of industry experience in logistics management, value-chain optimization, or commercial activity support.
- Able to work extended and non-standard hours.
- Intermediate proficiency with analytical tools such as Excel and PowerBI.
- 3 or more years of scheduling experience supporting clean products or downstream operations.
- Good understanding of downstream operations, supply chain, and value drivers.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in a relevant field.
- High degree of ethics and personal drive.
- Good problem-solving, organizational, planning, influencing and negotiation skills.
- Dedication to achieve team goals, increase general interest value to the company and support internal and external customers.
- Ability to adapt to changing work environments and make continuous improvements.
- Ability to set, manage, and meet multiple and competing priorities.
