Category Programs Director (Employment Services/Day Program/HCBS) Responsibilities Implement agency policies and procedures to ensure the overall quality of the programs offered at Arizona Comfort Care Social Services LLC (ACCSS). Provide daily oversight and supervision of the Day/Employment Programs & HCBS. Ensure all contractual and programmatic requirements are met consistently and resolve concerns efficiently and timely. Achieve goals related to client and family satisfaction, safety, quality, and team member performance. Prepare and submit all required reports, statistics, and quality assurance functions to verify program services are in accordance with agency and departmental Quality Assurance, Corporate Compliance, and HIPAA policies and procedures. Supervise the day‑to‑day operations of Transition to Employment, Group Supported Employment, HCBS, and Day Treatment and Training programs at Phoenix locations. Lead a team that engages staff and maintains a schedule that keeps members productive. Develop mock companies and simulate natural work settings for Transition to Employment, including product development for potential market and retail. Develop community-based jobs for Group Supported Employment work crews of 3 to 4 members. Meet with the support coordinator and potential clients to review Individual Service Plans (ISPs) and determine program appropriateness. Recruit, train, and develop staff as needed to support the programs. Fill in for staff in case of absence. Ensure all progress reports and required documentation are submitted to the Support Coordinator on time. Maintain agency vehicles and logs. Implement and monitor Behavior Treatment Plans required by the Division of Developmental Disabilities. Manage the HCBS program as needed. Develop and maintain positive, professional relationships with members, providers, and representatives from the Division of Developmental Disabilities and OLCR. Requirements Must have supervisory and staff management skills. Experience working with the Division of Developmental Disabilities. Experience supporting and interacting with individuals with developmental disabilities. Ability to work in partnership with other professionals, including case directors, medical staff, etc. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi‑task. Excellent time management skills. Computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel and Word documents. Ability to work independently and be self‑directed. Provide guidance and support to others, delegate tasks as needed, and ensure all agency and program deadlines are met on time. Maintain professionalism at all times while representing the company, including professional demeanor and appearance. Ability to work well under pressure and handle conflict in a professional and efficient manner. Bi‑lingual preferred but not required. Ability to balance, bend, stand, walk, kneel, twist, stretch, climb, and sit. Ability to lift/carry up and push/pull up to 50 pounds unassisted. Ability to tolerate environmental conditions (hot, cold, wetness, dust, noise, etc.). Ability to drive and travel independently to various sites. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to follow instructions. Ability to work effectively with staff, clients, and the public. Ability to use judgment. License & Certification Complete all required in‑service training and obtain Prevention & Support, CPR & basic first aid, Article 9, DCW (obtained within 90 days of hire), fingerprint card, and medication administration certification (if applicable). Determin possession of a valid driver’s license and a demonstrated safe driving record.
