Customer Service Rep(08351) - 5595 E. Santa Ana Canyon Rd. Part‑time Job Category Org: Store Customer Service Rep This part‑time Customer Service Representative position involves managing customer orders, processing telephone orders, inventory control, and maintaining cleanliness of the store. Employees will receive on‑the‑job training and may have opportunities for advancement within the company. PAY $20.00 per hour

JOB REQUIREMENTS

You must be 18 years of age or older.

GENERAL JOB DUTIES FOR ALL TEAM MEMBERS

Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage and work area, including walk‑in cooler. Receive and process telephone orders. Take inventory and complete associated paperwork. Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.

TRAINING

Orientation and training provided on the job.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions. Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/ SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator). Must be able to make correct monetary change. Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders. Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed. Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

WORK CONDITIONS

Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks. In-store temperatures range from 36 degrees in cooler to 90 degrees and above in some work areas. Sudden changes in temperature in work area and while outside. Fumes from food odors. Exposure to cornmeal dust. Cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler. Hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500 degrees or higher. Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.

ADVANCEMENT

Many team members progress from Customer Service Representative to management, general manager, and other roles.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Standing for most of the shift; tasks performed from a standing position. Walking on ceramic tile, linoleum; work surfaces 36-48 inches high. Lifting up to 50 pounds, stacking onto shelves up to 72 inches high. Carrying large cans, sauce, trays of dough up to 12 lbs per tray. Pushing/pulling trays on dollies; up to 7.5 pounds force. Climbing stairs or ladders infrequently; forward bending for assembly station. Reaching up to 72 inches, down; continuous reaching. Eye–hand coordination required; using hands continuously.
