Coating Technician – 2nd Shift

Location: Irvine, CA
Pay: $18.75/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1:30 PM–10:00 PM
Overtime: Saturdays available

About the Role

Want to build a career in specialized optical manufacturing? We are looking for a hands-on Coating Technician to join our 2nd shift team in Irvine.

No prior coating experience required! We are willing to train the right candidate. If you are mechanically inclined, comfortable working with tools and equipment, and interested in learning technical manufacturing processes, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

Learn to operate and assist with dip coating and AR (Anti-Reflective) coating processes for optical lenses.
Clean, maintain, and dismantle chamber tooling to help keep equipment operating properly.
Measure coating solutions and accurately record production data in company software.
Unload parts from coating chambers and prepare them for Quality Control (QC).
Inspect lenses and components for quality and defects.
Follow safety, quality, and production procedures.
Keep work areas and equipment clean and organized.

What We’re Looking For

Mechanically inclined with a willingness to learn technical processes.
Comfortable using basic hand tools and working with machinery.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Able to stand and/or walk for extended periods.
Able to lift and handle up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable working a 2nd shift schedule.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
