3D Animator / Character Animator

Apply your character animation and anatomy expertise to annotate hand movements for advanced AI training. This remote contract role focuses on producing precise, consistent hand landmark annotations across image and video data. Prior AI experience is not required. Key Responsibilities

• Annotate hand and finger landmarks and keypoints using MediaPipe-style hand topology while following strict protocols and tolerance thresholds.
• Identify and label anatomical joints, including the wrist, MCP, PIP, DIP, fingertips, and thumb-specific CMC, MCP, IP, and thumb-tip landmarks.
• Infer and accurately annotate joints and landmarks that are partially obscured or visually challenging, including complex hand positions and interactions with objects.
• Interpret varied hand poses, orientations, and perspectives to maintain consistent, high-quality annotations across image and video datasets.
• Review visual feedback, identify deviations from requirements, and make targeted corrections to support quality assurance at scale.

• Expertise in anatomy, particularly hand and finger anatomy.
• Experience or skill in annotation and MediaPipe-style hand topology.
• Strong visual reasoning and image and video analysis abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow established protocols and guidelines.
• Quality assurance mindset and ability to identify and correct annotation issues.

• Remote contract engagement.

• $15 to $80 per hour.
