Elyzio, a dynamic gaming startup founded in 2022, is carving a niche in the gaming world with our eagerly awaited PC game, "Warden's Will," a genre-defining action-adventure roguelite. Our team, spread across the globe, works remotely in a collaborative environment, driven by our shared ambition to create a groundbreaking gaming experience. We are looking for an 3D Animator to join our team and help us launch our new PC title, Warden's Will.

Responsibilities:

1. Creating and implementing dynamic, fluid, and visually captivating character animations for in-game actions.
2. Collaborating with designers, developers, and artists to understand and incorporate animation requirements into the game design.
3. Utilizing Unreal Engine 5's animation toolkit to integrate animations, ensuring they interact seamlessly with the game physics.
4. Rigging and skinning a variety of game assets, including characters and props, using 3D animation software.
5. Working closely with programmers to create and refine gameplay mechanics.
6. Participating in animation reviews, accepting and managing feedback, and iterating on animations to meet the artistic vision of the game.
7. Debugging and problem-solving animation issues that arise during production.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as an 3D Animator in the gaming industry, preferably in PC game development.
2. Strong proficiency in using Unreal Engine 5, particularly its animation and rigging tools.
3. Familiarity with Lyra project or similar is a plus.
4. Proficiency in 3D animation software such as Maya or Blender.
5. Strong understanding of animation principles, character creation, and the game art production pipeline.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
7. A strong portfolio showcasing your animation work in the gaming context.
8. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a proven track record in a similar role.
9. A passion for gaming and a deep understanding of what makes a game appealing to different audiences.
