About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Strategic Accounts to play a pivotal role in the growth and management of key client relationships. The successful candidate will be responsible for building, owning, and delivering strategic account plans for large health plan clients, as well as engaging with senior executives to drive the development of overall account strategy. This role demands a professional with a deep understanding of the health plan market, the ability to build and maintain strong relationships, and a proven track record in account management. The VP will act as an internal champion for dedicated accounts, lead negotiations, and work closely with the sales team to close deals and ensure client satisfaction. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to effectively communicate the company's value and to identify and pursue additional growth opportunities. Applicants for the VP, Strategic Accounts position at the company must have a Bachelor's degree and at least 15 years of experience in a client-facing role within the health plan sector. A strong network of relationships with senior leaders in health plans is a must, as is a deep knowledge of the market and the strategic priorities of health plans. The role requires an individual with an analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment. A passion for driving change in the healthcare industry and a willingness to travel are also key requirements. While not mandatory, a Master's degree and experience in a startup or early-stage company are considered advantageous. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, flexible, and dedicated professional who is committed to the company's values and principles.
