About the Role

Champions Club Texas is looking for a proactive and experienced Marketing Manager to lead marketing strategy and execution for our team. You'll be responsible for driving customer acquisition, retention, visitation, and revenue across both our poker and hospitality businesses.

We're looking for someone who deeply understands hospitality (and ideally gaming), knows the Houston market, and is equally comfortable both developing strategy and executing it. You'll be able to really take ownership, bring forward new ideas, experiment with new approaches, and continually use results to determine what we should do next.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies focused on customer acquisition, retention, visitation, and revenue growth.
• Lead the conception, planning, execution, and analysis of marketing campaigns across digital, email, SMS, social, website, on-property, partnerships, and other relevant channels.
• Develop and execute marketing plans for poker tournaments, cash games, promotions, live streams, and other gaming initiatives.
• Work closely with property operations, poker, hospitality, content, production, social media, agencies, and leadership to understand upcoming events, promotions, and priorities and develop effective strategies to drive participation.
• Collaborate with production, content, and social media teams to promote live streams, poker initiatives, players, and other compelling content across Champions' marketing channels.
• Develop marketing initiatives that support the hotel, food and beverage, events, and the broader hospitality experience, including opportunities to cross-promote between poker and hospitality audiences.
• Consistently identify and propose new marketing initiatives, promotions, partnerships, audiences, and growth opportunities rather than relying solely on existing programs or direction from leadership.
• Regularly experiment with new offers, messaging, channels, creative approaches, and promotional concepts; measure results and iterate based on performance.
• Maintain a strong understanding of the Houston market, including local audiences, entertainment trends, competitors, communities, and potential partnership opportunities.
• Build relationships with relevant local businesses, creators, influencers, organizations, and strategic partners to expand Champions' reach.
• Use customer data, campaign results, and market insights to identify opportunities and inform future marketing strategy.
• Establish and monitor KPIs, analyze campaign effectiveness, and regularly communicate results, learnings, and recommended next steps to leadership.

Experience & Skills

• 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably within gaming, poker, casino, hospitality, entertainment, sports, or live events.
• Must be based in Houston or the surrounding area and available for regular on-site work at Champions Club Texas.
• Must be willing and available to work nights and weekends as business needs require, particularly during major poker tournaments, live streams, promotions, and special events.
• Must be comfortable adjusting their schedule around key property events and marketing priorities.
• Proven experience developing and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns.
• Demonstrated ability to proactively identify opportunities and take ideas from concept through execution.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing, email/CRM, social media, paid media, and marketing analytics.

Qualities & Preferences

• Strong knowledge of Houston and the surrounding market, including its audiences and entertainment landscape.
• Experience or strong familiarity with poker and/or gaming, including an understanding of poker audiences, terminology, promotions, and events.
• Creative and comfortable experimenting, testing new approaches, and adjusting strategy based on results.
