TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Home Health RN in Roanoke, Virginia, 24016!
Home Health Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 2+ years of Home Health experience required License: Active Virginia State or Compact RN/LPN license Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Proficient in nursing assessment and OASIS data collection Experience with EPIC charting system Skilled in various clinical procedures related to home health, including wound care, IV therapy, and chronic disease management Description: This position requires a Registered Nurse with a focus on home health. The nurse will provide personalized care to patients in their homes. Daily patient visits will average six. Visits may include rural areas within a specific radius. The role involves comprehensive nursing assessments and case management. Experience with documentation processes, including admission assessment, recertification, and discharge, is essential. The nurse must manage care for patients with various medical conditions, including those requiring IV therapy and respiratory care. Strong skills in medication administration and patient education are necessary. Availability to work occasionally during holidays is required. The nurse will work a Monday to Friday schedule with no weekend requirement. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care is expected.
