Responsibilities: 

• Lead all day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, AP, AR, payroll, billing and revenue recognition.
• Own the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements, budgets and forecasts.
• Maintain and enhance accounting policies, internal controls and financial processes.
• Oversee cash management, funding balances and major financial transactions.
• Support public company reporting requirements where applicable.
• Partner with executive leadership to provide financial analysis and commercial insight.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement across finance operations and accounting best practices.
• Mentor and develop members of the finance team.

Skills/Must Have:

• Proven experience as a Controller or senior finance leader with ownership of the full accounting function.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and month-end/year-end close.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).
• Experience working in a high-growth or fast-paced business environment.
• Strong leadership, analytical and communication skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and accounting systems experience.

Salary:

• $150,000 - $200,000 base salary.
