We are looking for a detail-oriented, mission-driven accounting professional who combines technical excellence with strong judgement, humility and a heart for stewardship. Education & Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field required Experience & Expertise: 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or financial reporting Strong knowledge of GAAP, with experience in nonprofit accounting environments preferred (not required) Familiarity with nonprofit tax compliance and reporting, including Form 990 Demonstrated ability to research and apply technical accounting guidance Skills & Capabilities: High level of integrity and commitment to financial stewardship and accountability Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail Proven ability to improve processes and adapt to evolving systems and technologies Effective communicator—able to translate financial information clearly for non-financial leaders Experience leading, developing, and mentoring team members Tools & Working Style: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems (experience with ERP systems such as Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Thrives in a collaborative, flexible, and hybrid work setting What We’ll Bring: Comprehensive health care and wellness plans for your entire family 403(b) plan with company match Generous paid holidays, paid time off, and wellness days Colleagues who care and pray for the ministry and each other Coffee Chats, Taco Talks, Monday Morning Huddles, Wednesday Morning Prayer, Weekly 1:1s, Lunch and Learns and more!
