We have what you’re looking for: Competitive Compensation: $22.00 per hour with GUARANTEED automatic $.50 increases at both 60 days and 180 days. Modern Tools & Equipment: Use the latest safety equipment to accurately detect gas leaks and quickly analyze data. Work Independently: After training, you’ll get to show off your time management & problem-solving skills by working independently. Exploring the great outdoors: Work outside in the fresh air, typically walking 5+ miles per day. WorkSchedule - Full Time Monday to Friday 1st shift Some overtime maybe needed. What you’ll need to be considered: Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment drug screen and background check. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required. High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs for extended periods. Basic understanding of hand tools and power tools. Prior experience in construction, utilities, or a related field is a plus but not required. Keen senses of smell, hearing, vision, and color identification. Flexibility to work varied hours, including overtime and occasional weekends, as job demands. Commitment to safety and adherence to all safety regulations What you’ll need to succeed: Passion for Environmental Safety: Are you driven by a commitment to safety? You’ll play a key role in the detection of natural gas leaks to protect the community and prevent harm. Tech Enthusiast: Direct experience working with hands-on technology is a plus. Yes, your phone & computer count! Our technicians use cutting-edge technology & equipment to ensure accurate leak detection. Problem Solving: Help navigate any natural gas incidents and use our training to implement the proper solution. Superb Customer Service: You’re the face of the company. Giving our clients peace of mind by being professional & responsive is the top priority. Execute scheduled and emergency gas shut-offs, while adhering to safety protocols and providing clear communication to customers. Communication Skills: Ability to accurately relay findings and convey information is key. Attention to Detail: Being vigilant and staying focused while working is key when locating leaks. Physical Stamina: Technicians work outdoors & must have endurance to perform tasks effectively and safely. (For Some Positions) Personal vehicle for daily work use: Technicians are eligible for mileage reimbursement to cover the cost of gas & other vehicle maintenance. Physical Requirements: Bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking several miles per day; carry up to 20 lbs. of equipment.
