Position Title: Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney
Salary Range: $125,000 – $200,000 / Year DOE+ Uncapped Bonus Potential
Location: California | Fully Remote, Hybrid, or Onsite

Manage your own cases, build trusted client relationships, and work directly with leadership in a highly entrepreneurial environment.
The Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney will play a crucial role in managing a diverse caseload for a variety of clients and requires a strong foundation in Workers Compensation defense and the ability to navigate trials effectively. With a 200 hour billable minimum, candidates should be prepared to handle a full range of case responsibilities, from initial contact to trial proceedings.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of approximately 60 cases, ensuring no more than 80 cases at any time
- Handle all types of hearings and trials, serving as the first point of contact for client issues
- Work collaboratively with a dedicated Legal Assistant to manage administrative tasks
- Respond to client inquiries within 24 hours
- Travel within the area for in-person trials, primarily in Southern California
- Enter time and approve work completed by legal assistants
- Build and maintain client relationships to foster trust and satisfaction
Requirements:
- At least 2-3 years of Workers Compensation defense experience
- MUST BE ABLE TO GO TO TRIAL IN PERSON
- Trial experience is highly preferred
- Barred in California
- Personable and able to build strong relationships with clients
- Team player who is flexible
