What You Will Do

• Draft, review, and manage a variety of legal documents, including contracts and compliance materials.
• Collaborate with attorneys to prepare for meetings, hearings, and negotiations, ensuring all necessary documentation is in order.
• Conduct legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
• Maintain organized case files and databases, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
• Assist in the management of client relationships, providing timely updates and communication regarding legal matters.
• Support the firm's compliance initiatives by monitoring regulatory changes and ensuring adherence to legal standards.
• Contribute to process improvements that enhance the efficiency of legal operations.

Ideal Candidate Background

• 4+ years of experience as a paralegal, preferably within law, venture capital, or financial services.
• Proven ability to draft and review legal documents with a high degree of accuracy.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with clients and team members.

Preferred

• Experience with compliance and regulatory frameworks in the financial services sector.
• Familiarity with legal research tools and software to streamline case preparation.
• Background in supporting venture capital transactions or startup legal needs.

Compensation and Benefits
