Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based therapy aimed at improving client mental health. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve:

• Facilitating engaging group therapy sessions where clients can connect, share experiences, and learn from one another in a supportive environment.

• Providing individual therapy sessions tailored to each client's unique needs, exploring their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and assisting them in developing coping strategies.

• Collaborating with clients to create individualized treatment plans that are goal-oriented and aligned with their specific mental health aspirations.

• Monitoring client progress through regular assessments and feedback mechanisms to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on young adults aged 18 to 30, a critical demographic that often faces unique challenges as they transition into adulthood. Many of our clients are grappling with issues such as anxiety, depression, identity formation, and relationship dynamics. Your role will be paramount in providing them with the tools and support they need to navigate these challenges effectively.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in a relevant field including counseling, psychology, social work, or marriage and family therapy.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida.

• A strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic methodologies and a passion for supporting the mental health of youths and young adults.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with clients and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of relevant experience in mental health treatment is required, candidates with experience specifically working with adolescents and young adults or those familiar with telehealth services will be greatly valued.

Compensation and Benefits\n
