Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify clients' mental health needs, establishing the appropriate therapeutic approach.

• Offer tailored one-on-one counseling, employing evidence-based therapeutic frameworks, to help clients cope with conditions such as anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and substance use disorders.

• Lead group therapy sessions focused on psychoeducation, support dynamics, and community building to facilitate shared experiences among those facing similar challenges.

• Create, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans, establishing measurable goals that address each client's unique circumstances and desired outcomes.

• Provide crisis intervention services, utilizing strong assessment skills to evaluate escalated situations and coordinating with emergency services as needed for client safety.

• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and training to refine your counseling skills and integrate new therapeutic techniques into practice.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team consisting of psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers to ensure comprehensive, client-centered care.

The individuals you will work with come from various backgrounds and experiences, each presenting unique mental health challenges. Your role will require sensitivity to cultural differences and an understanding of the community’s needs. Our clients range from adolescents coping with school-related stress to adults facing significant life transitions and elderly individuals managing long-term mental health conditions. Tailoring your counseling practice to this diverse clientele is paramount.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field from a recognized and accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a mental health counselor in the state of Florida.

• Completion of three years of supervised clinical experience in a mental health setting, meeting the state's regulatory requirements.

• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills to effectively manage a wide array of mental health conditions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
