This full-time position allows for a flexible remote work environment, enabling you to balance your professional responsibilities with your personal life. While you will primarily work from home, you may occasionally collaborate in our outpatient office setting for team meetings and training. Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver tailored therapeutic strategies that cater individually to clients’ needs, conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic practices, offering counseling to individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Employ a variety of therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, adapting your approach to fit each client.

• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care, including regular communication with psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and training to enhance knowledge of emerging trends in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals facing challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and relationship difficulties. Many of our clients have limited access to care, providing you with a rewarding opportunity to make a significant difference in their lives. You will serve populations that require compassion, understanding, and skillful intervention.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) within New York State.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in mental health counseling is essential.

• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards related to mental health practices.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to establish rapport across a varied client base.

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a healthcare team.

• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and related technologies is preferred.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse counseling is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
