Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Rocky Meadow Counseling, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a caseload of clients, ensuring establishment of trust and rapport while adhering to professional ethics and maintaining appropriate boundaries.

• Conducting intake assessments and designing personalized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.
\n
• Monitoring clients’ progress by scheduling regular sessions to review treatment goals, stability, and, when applicable, discharge plans.
\n
• Documenting client interactions through timely and accurate progress notes in our electronic health record (EHR) system.
\n
• Engaging in individual supervision and team meetings to enhance your clinical skills and share insights with colleagues.
\n
• Collaborating with other healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to client care, including referrals to additional services or support as necessary.

• Exhibiting a growth mindset by continuously seeking opportunities for professional development and improvement in therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clinic focuses primarily on serving youth and families, addressing a broad spectrum of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and more. You will have the opportunity to work closely with a diverse population, tailoring your therapeutic approach to meet the needs of young clients, often in cooperation with their families to support their mental health journey.

Qualifications\n

To excel in this role, the following qualifications are required:

• A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Massachusetts.

• Capability to meet the internal credentialing requirements within our clinical settings.

• A strong understanding of clinical practices and ethics in mental health counseling.

Preferred Experience\n
