Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ psychological and emotional needs utilizing advanced interviewing techniques and direct observation.

• Formulate individualized treatment plans that address mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, substance use, and coping mechanisms for chronic pain.

• Implement therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness strategies, to equip patients with effective coping skills.

• Provide comprehensive consultations to our healthcare team, offering insights that integrate psychological and medical treatment perspectives.

• Maintain up-to-date, accurate, and compliant medical documentation in alignment with state and federal regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with individuals experiencing chronic pain and associated mental health challenges. Our patient population may include those dealing with addiction issues, grief and loss, and the psychological impacts of managing a chronic illness. Understanding the unique needs of these patients, you will provide customized support that empowers them to achieve their health goals and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• An active LCSW license from the State of California.

• At least 2 years of professional experience in a clinical setting, preferably within a healthcare or mental health context.

• Strong communication skills, both oral and written, enabling effective collaboration with clients and multidisciplinary team members.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers an attractive salary range of USD 120,000 to 130,000 per year, dependent on experience and qualifications.
