Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive assessments for new clients and families, ensuring that individual backgrounds and unique circumstances are understood and respected.

• Develop and implement personalized therapy plans focusing on skill-building, emotion regulation, and resilience strategies for individuals, couples, and families facing various challenges.

• Create comprehensive crisis intervention, safety, and wellness plans for clients requiring structured support due to immediate needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solutions-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), tailored to fit each client's unique context.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and treatment plans in our secure electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care, attending regular meetings to coordinate treatment approaches and share relevant insights on client care.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• An active LCSW, LMFT, or LPC license in the state of Virginia, allowing for full practice in providing mental health services.

• Demonstrated experience working with a variety of client needs, particularly those involving complex emotional and psychological issues.

• Strong interpersonal communication and active listening skills, capable of building rapport and trust with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, providing therapy and mental health counseling services.

Compensation and Benefits\n
