We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to manage the day-to-day financial operations of our growing client. The ideal candidate will have strong bookkeeping experience, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger accounts.
- Process accounts receivable transactions.
- Reconcile bank, credit card, and vendor statements.
- Prepare and post journal entries.
- Generate invoices, apply customer payments, and follow up on outstanding receivables.
- Process vendor payments and maintain vendor records.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Manage inventory-related accounting transactions and reconcile inventory records.
- Maintain accurate records in NetSuite and ensure data integrity.
- 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in a wholesale, distribution, or inventory-based business.
- Hands-on experience using NetSuite ERP .
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
- Experience with accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a small business environment.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience with inventory management and wholesale operations.
- Knowledge of sales tax compliance and payroll processing.
- Familiarity with financial reporting and month-end close processes.
