Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of clients’ mental health status through virtual sessions.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices to address a variety of mental health concerns.

• Facilitate regular therapy sessions, providing support and tools for clients to navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and medical doctors, to create comprehensive care plans and refer clients when necessary.

• Document client progress accurately in accordance with professional and ethical standards while maintaining confidentiality.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals from various cultural backgrounds and age groups. You will support clients facing an array of issues, such as substance use disorders, mood disorders, anxiety, and eating disorders. Your expertise in understanding cultural nuances will greatly enhance the therapeutic alliance and contribute to improved patient outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of a Master’s or Doctorate degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Georgia.

• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience, demonstrating proficiency in mental health counseling.

Compensation and Benefits\n
