Key Responsibilities\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Medchoice, you will serve a diverse population of clients facing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, mood disorders, substance use disorders, and trauma-related issues. Understanding and respecting cultural backgrounds will be essential, as you tailor your therapeutic approach to meet each client’s unique context and background.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington is required.

• A minimum of two years of professional experience in a mental health counseling role is strongly preferred.

• Demonstrated understanding of mental health disorders, treatment methodologies, and the significance of cultural competence in therapy sessions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
