Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to gain an understanding of patients' unique life experiences, presenting symptoms, and social contexts.

• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to the individual needs of each patient, incorporating relevant cultural considerations.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing mental health concerns, fostering resilience, and promoting emotional well-being.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and holistic patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention for patients experiencing mental health emergencies, employing effective de-escalation techniques.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment methodologies, and available community resources for ongoing support.

• Maintain accurate, confidential clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring all records reflect the dynamic treatment approach.

• Actively engage in case conferences, team meetings, and regular training sessions on cultural competency and best practices in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will serve a diverse client base, inclusive of ethnic and cultural minorities, LGBTQ+ individuals, and immigrants. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current, valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Illinois.

• A solid foundation in understanding mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methodologies.

• Experience providing individual and group therapy with a focus on culturally responsive practices.

• Exceptional crisis intervention skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of establishing rapport with a diverse client base.

• Proficient in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications to manage client information.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $100,000 annually based on experience and qualifications.
