Sales Development Representative

The Role We're working with a fast-growing, YC-backed AI startup that's building out its commercial team ahead of its next stage of growth. They're looking for an ambitious SDR to join as an early sales hire and take real ownership of building pipeline. You’ll own top-of-funnel activity across cold calling, outbound outreach and signal-based prospecting, targeting enterprise and commercial buyers. This isn't a role where you'll simply inherit a mature playbook, you'll help figure out what works, build repeatable outbound processes and directly influence how the sales function develops. They're looking for someone with 1–3 years of SDR/BDR experience in B2B SaaS who can demonstrate genuine outbound performance. You'll need to be comfortable operating in an early-stage environment, prioritising quickly and taking ownership without needing everything mapped out for you. Own outbound prospecting across cold calling, email and other channels Generate qualified meetings across enterprise and commercial accounts Identify and act on buying signals and warm opportunities Help build and iterate outbound processes, messaging and systems Develop insights around ICPs, buyer personas and effective prospecting channels Represent the business at relevant conferences and industry events Work closely with the wider sales team to build a scalable pipeline engine What We’re Looking For 1–3 years of outbound SDR/BDR experience within a B2B SaaS startup Clear track record of exceeding outbound sales targets Evidence of high-volume, self-generated outbound activity Competitive, energetic and highly proactive approach Comfortable prioritising quickly and adapting as the business evolves Strong communication skills and confidence engaging senior prospects Experience helping build outbound processes or systems from an early stage is advantageous Experience selling to GTM teams or enterprise buyers is advantageous $105k–$130k OTE 5 days per week in the San Francisco office Some travel for conferences and events Visa transfers/sponsorship can be considered Fast interview process including initial screen, interview and work trial #J-18808-Ljbffr OJ Digital
