Human Resources Manager

Atrium is seeking on behalf of our client a HR Manager based in Fairfield . A background check may be run only after a conditional offer is made, where permitted by law . Position: HR Manager Employment Type: Full-time Compensation: $80,000-100,000 Position Overview The HR Manager will oversee all aspects of human resources operations, ensuring compliance with employment laws and supporting a positive workplace culture. This role will manage employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, and HR systems while partnering with leadership to drive organizational goals. The HR Manager will play a key role in fostering engagement and supporting the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Responsibilities Employee Relations - Handle employee concerns, conflict resolution, investigations, and provide manager support HR Operations - Oversee day-to-day HR processes, policies, and maintain accurate employee records Recruiting & Talent Acquisition - Manage job postings, interviews, offers, onboarding, and hiring strategies Performance Management - Coordinate performance reviews, goal setting, and disciplinary processes Benefits Administration - Administer medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and leave programs Payroll & Timekeeping - Oversee payroll processes, audits, and resolve payroll issues Compliance - Ensure adherence to federal and state employment laws and company policies Onboarding & Offboarding - Manage the employee experience from hire through separation HRIS Management - Maintain accurate employee data and generate HR reports Policy Development & Implementation - Create, update, and communicate HR policies Training & Development - Coordinate mandatory training and professional development programs Employee Engagement & Culture - Support retention initiatives and workplace culture programs Manager/Leadership Support - Advise managers on employee issues and HR best practices Required Experience/Skills Proven experience in HR management or a similar role Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance requirements Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities Preferred Experience/Skills Experience in a multi-state HR environment Familiarity with payroll systems and benefits administration platforms Background in employee engagement and culture-building initiatives Knowledge of HR analytics and reporting tools SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field If eligible under the ACA, medical, dental and vision benefits and time off in accordance with local paid sick time laws will be offered.
