Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations during initial assessments to understand client history and needs.

• Develop personalized treatment plans based on clinical assessments that address specific mental, behavioral, and emotional concerns.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions using approved therapeutic techniques, adapting practices to client responsiveness and treatment requirements.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client progress throughout the duration of treatment, including notes on any changes in mental health status or significant developments.

• Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and primary care providers, to enhance client care and intervention strategies.

• Monitor and evaluate treatment effectiveness, making necessary adjustments to plans based on real-time client feedback and progress indicators.

• Facilitate engaging family sessions to educate and empower family members in supporting their loved ones' mental health journeys.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in New York State.

• Passage of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
