Senior IT Project Manager

Leading the design and implementation of information systems, the full-time Senior IT Project Manager will manage the full system development life cycle for various projects, ensuring successful outcomes and client satisfaction in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Oversee the initiation, planning, execution, and closing of IT projects, ensuring alignment with client needs and project goals Act as the primary liaison among clients, vendors, and stakeholders, facilitating communication and reporting on project progress Define project scope, manage budgets, and monitor resource allocations to ensure timely and successful project completion Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field, or equivalent work experience PMP Certification and Agile certification preferred (e.g., PMI-ACP, CSM, or SAFe) At least 7 years of experience managing IT projects, with a focus on system implementations exceeding $500,000 Experience with federal and state government projects, particularly in Health and Human Services or Medicaid systems Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Microsoft Project
